This is a pewter, Solar Disc & Rays Pyramid 1/2" Candle Holder. Holds 1/2" diameter candles. It is apx 1 1/2" square and 1" tall. In the side is the symbol for the Egyptian Solar Disc and Rays. The sun was the primary element of life in ancient Egypt, we find this importance reflected in the art and religion. Some of the most popular gods had a solar connection.
